Are you “Public School Proud”?
Help Public Schools First NC with a social media campaign. It’s easy—record a short video (you or your student) saying you attend WCPSS and using the prompt “I’m public school proud because…”
Keep it anonymous or use a first name, but be sure to say you attend WCPSS or Enloe!
Submissions can be texted to 919-800-9884.
For some inspiration, watch Paul, an Enloe parent, on why he is public school proud.

WOW! Enloe family, thank you for your amazing response to our request for box fans.
You really stepped up and met the full request of 50 fans -- that's one for every classroom.
We can't thank you enough for your support of our Enloe students and teachers!
Last request this school year for snacks for the Enloe Food Pantry! This is a quick and easy way to donate to your Enloe Eagles family. Students in need have appreciated being able to stop by the Enloe Food Pantry for a snack when they are hungry. Click here to order via Amazon and have it delivered right to the school! Or you can drop off with Ms. Gullatt at Student Services if you prefer. Thank you for keeping all our Enloe students well fed during the school day.
Thank you to all who attended Enloe’s Advocacy for All event with Lynn Edmonds of Public Schools First NC. We had almost sixty people sign up and learned so much! Lynn will be sharing her slides for an upcoming newsletter.
Meanwhile, congratulations to raffle winners Daisy Clemmons, Ruby Presnall, and Sarah Luddy. These lucky attendees get a free copy of The Education Wars: A Citizen’s Guide and Defense Manual. The book will be available starting April 21 at the Enloe front office.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Wednesday’s State of Enloe panel about current issues facing public education.
Special thanks to Dr. Elena Ashburn, NC Senator Jay Chaudhuri, Rep. Sarah Crawford, WCPSS School Board Chair Chris Heagarty, and Rep. Julie von Haefen for their tremendous insight and commitment to our schools.

On Tuesday, May 6th close to 100 Enloe students, parents, and staff joined North Carolina Association of Educators President Christina Spears for a walk-in to protest the proposed budget cuts to public schools up for a vote at tonight’s school board meeting. Enloe junior, Camm Fyfe, spoke in support of our dedicated Enloe educators.
Our very own Jeffrey Fuss spoke with ABC11.
